If I could talk with someone in this book I'm going to choose to talk with Darren Shan. Darren, he got blooded by vampire to save his best friend Steve when he was young so he had to leave hisfamily. So if I could talk with him I.m going to say that son't get depressed. And I'm going to act like a brother of his. Also I.m goingto say cheer up and I.m going to give him a hope.

Characterization
The writer name Cynthia Violet wrote this book, "Solitary Blue", and we could apparently know the personality and uniqueness of the charaters, and especially main characters. Main characters are Jeff, Professor, Melody, Brother Thomas, Dicey, James, Maybeth, Sammy, and Max. First Jeff is the most main charector. He experiences many difficulties when he was young and because of these experiences, we could know his personalities. After Melody left he looked blank. He didn't care about his grades, school work, and friends. then when the letter came from Melody, he only thinks about Melody. However when he notices she is a liar he became calm and he begins to get closer with his dad, Professor. Also his habbit is playing guitar and sailing. Secondly Professor is little bit shy. He is so introverted that he didn't tell his problem to others. However he's smart and has worm heart. Melody, Jeff's Mom, is very extroverted. She's beutiful and looks kind. However she is a liar. She always tells lies without changing her expression and we don't know her mind. Brother Thomas is very kind. He always encourage his friend Borrace who is Professor. Also he likes children. Next Dicey stubborn. She does what she wants. However she's smart and she likes to sing, and her siblings James whois smart, Maybeth who is very introverted, and Sammy who is also stubborn threat her likes leader. Max who is the boy friend of Melody, acts likes a kid because he envies Jeff.

Q: Why did Melody the mother of Jeff and wife of Professor lied to people and make people stressful? And why did professor and Jeff gets too mad?
A: In my opinion she lied because she is selfish. She wants to be free and live comfortably. Also because of Max, her new boy friend. However lying to people like Melody is too stressful, because the inner mind and outter mind is so different. Between families I think we shouldn't lie. But Melody lies to every one, even her son, her grandmother and to her husband. I think Jeff and Prfessor will get very mad and angry because they both believed in Melody, and she always changes her mind, and having many secrets to them, those will make them angry. Also abandoning them is so bad, espcially to Jeff, because he was only secind grade and in that age he needs more love. Anyway Melody makes many ridiculous acts and makes their family angry, so she deserves to get blame.
Q: Why did Jeff begins to like the nature?
A: Jeff begins to like the nature because after he fight with his mother he gets so depressed, and the thing he found out was a boat. Then that was the only thing that make him feel good. With a boat he voyaged. This make him interested in boat and traveling. After voyaging he begins to see many animals and nature. Then he gets interested in birds and animals. Anyway because she made him so desperate the thing that he did made him happy, voyaging.
